After Hours

After Hours Visits for your Ill or Injured Child

Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc. In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first for instructions.

If your child or teenager becomes acutely ill or injured after office hours and you cannot wait until the next morning to talk to a doctor, you can page a Mia Bella physician at home at 1-877-761-2577. You will be asked to leave a message that will be returned, usually within 20 minutes. Be sure to give her your child's name, age and your main concern.

The doctor will determine whether she can handle the situation by phone and see you in the office the next morning, or whether it will be necessary to have your child seen more urgently at the ER or Urgent Care.

We are closed on major holidays including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day, Thanksgiving (including the following Friday and Saturday), Easter, Labor Day and Memorial Day.
